நீர்கொழும்பு விஜயரத்தினம் இந்து மத்திய கல்லூரியின் பொன்விழா காணும் பழைய மாணவர் மன்றத்தினால் சிறுவர் தினத்தை முன்னிட்டு பாடசாலை மாணவர்களுக்கிடையிலான கரப்பந்தாட்ட (volleyball) போட்டியொன்று ஏற்பாடு செய்யப்பட்டது. அதில் கலந்து கொண்ட மாணவர்கள் எதிர்பாராத அளவு தங்களது திறமைகளை வெளிகாட்டினார்கள். அத்துடன் பாடசாலை அதிபர், ஆசிரியர்கள் மற்றும் மாணவர்கள் அவர்களது பரிபூரண ஒத்துழைப்பை வழங்கியதுடன் பழைய மாணவர் மன்றத்திற்கு தமது நன்றி கலந்த பாராட்டினையும் தெரிவித்தனர்.
On the occasion of Children’s Day, the Golden Jubilee Alumni Association of Wijayaratanam Hindu Central College, Negombo organized a volleyball competition among school students. The students who participated in it showed their talents to an unexpected extent and expressed their gratitude to the alumni association for their perfect cooperation from the school principal, teachers and students.
